When we were young, our parents instructed us to weave Likurai so that we could use it to store things and so on. In those days, we didn't have bags to store things and food, so our parents taught us to weave likurai to use in our daily activities.

Likurai is similar elsewhere but may have different names, but I think they all use palm leaves for likurai.

In the past, our parents used this likurai to pick vegetables, as a bin, as a place to store clothes or items inside the house, use it to harvest corn, and as a cover for chicks at night, but nowadays we can also use it to the shop or market to put merchandise and sell it, this likurai is one of the very important bags and buckets for people to use every day.

The process of making it is very simple. First we have to take palm leaves, each Likurai will take four knots of palm leaves, then the leaves will be dried and will be torn, and remove the lid, then it will be woven into Likurai, and when it is ready we can use Likurai at any time we need.
