The women of the liurai's origin house of Babulo Mane Hitu wear striped black and red tais known as "Krabi Wa'a Mee". According to Josh Trinidade, these tais symbolise the relationship between the royal houses of Babulo and Luca. In the Naueti language "wa'a" means "to cradle" (and hence symbolises how Luca cradles Babulo) and "mee" means "red", symbolizing blood.
